Green pledge to save rivers [1]

Ranchi, June 2: Villagers and activists across the state worshipped rivers today and took oaths not to pollute them.

Villagers also promised to save other water bodies, which are fast drying up due to various reasons, thus contributing to the depletion of sources of ground water.
