CHIEF Minister M Karunanidhi on Thursday sought Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's intervention to withdraw the decision to allow land survey for a new Mullaiperiyar dam. He said the State Government was forced to get a stay on the permission given to Kerala to undertake survey for the dam, as the Union Environment Ministry had erred in its decision.
