In a notification issued on December 3, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has announced the generic tariff to be paid to the producers of power from renewable sources including wind, small hydro, biomass, non-fossil fuel-based cogeneration plants and solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal power plants.
