Hopes of early commencement of work at the Sonsodo dumping site brightened on Monday after the high-powered committee headed by Chief Minister Digambar Kamat requested Fomento to immediately take up the waste screening work upon receipt of the letter of Acceptance from the Margao Municipal Council.
