President Mohamed Nasheed introduced bio-fuels to the people of Maradho-Feydhoo during his visit to the island on Wednesday.
Speaking at a function held at the social centre, President Nasheed said that bio-fuels use less energy and was overall a more efficient energy source. He also thanked the Malaysian company for introducing the new technology in the Maldives.
