Rural electrification project progress is poor [1]

Contractors were given Rs 13.42 crore. However, the progress is not even worth Rs one crore.

This is the condition of ambitious Rajiv Gandhi Rural Electrification project in the district. The project aimed at supplying electricity to 30,000 BPL families in 293 villages.
