The State government is planning to purchase 200 MW power in addition to the 280 MW bought at a cost of Rs 4.50 per unit last week, to ensure regular supply of power during exams.
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, who also holds Energy portfolio, told reporters here on Monday that tenders will be floated in a few days.
