By named environmentalist Rajendra Kerkar as an abettor in the killing of the tiger that was poached in Keri last year, the Forest Department has revealed that its intentions in the case are not entirely honourable. It was Kerkar who had first reported the incident and published a photograph in a Goa newspaper in April 2009.
