LUCKNOW: The `Earth Hour' on Saturday evening failed to make any significant impact on the demand for power in the state. With the government machinery choosing to ignore the call, it remained confined to some private efforts, mostly at educational institutions. The Raj Bhawan, however, remained a noted exception and remained under the cover of darkness for the full one hour.
