The Uttarakhand Forest Department has drafted a new plan to tackle the menace of forest fires in the State, while at the same time, providing employment to the youth of the State.
According to the State principal chief conservator of Forests (PCCF) Dr RBS Rawat, the Forest Department will deploy one forest watchman in each Van Panchayat in Uttarakhand.
