Govt puts Ktaka miners on notice for false numbers [1]

THE government has started legal proceedings against 10 iron ore mining firms, which are part of larger companies, for providing inaccurate production and pricing figures. The alleged misleading information has caused a royalty revenue loss of about Rs 5,088 crore, people close to the development said.
