African cheetah to be brought in MP [1]

Chhatarpur, Aug 17:
A cheetah will be translocated from Africa to Palpurkuno and Nauradehi sanctuaries in Madhya Pradesh, highly-placed forest department sources said.

The last cheetah in the country died in Sarguja district, presently in Chhattisgarh, in 1941.
