The Kerala Festivals Coordination Committee organised an elephant parade, with more than a dozen elephants, and a march here on Monday in protest against the recommendations of the Elephant Task Force.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme at the Thekkinkadu Maidan, Babu M. Pallissery, MLA, alleged that the recommendations of the Mahesh Rangarajan panel was based on wrong assumptions.
