Shimla: Major players in the power sector are in the race for 18 hydroelectric projects with the aggregate generation capacity of 1385.5 MW for which global bids have been invited by the government.
Companies eyeing stakes in the booming hydropower sector in the state include like Reliance Power, Essar Energy, Adani Power, Larson and Toubro and GVK Energy.
