Taking into account the ecological imbalance caused by Eucalyptus and Acacia, Karnataka government on Monday announced its decision to ban the cultivation of these two species of trees.
A government order banning cultivation of both the species would be issued in a month, Minister for Forest C H Vijayashankar told reporters here.
