Water woes dry midday meal [1]

Jamshedpur, Feb. 28: The midday meal at five government-run primary schools in Mango and Dimna has been stopped from today due to the ongoing water crisis, leaving around 1,000 underprivileged children bereft of their free lunch.

With no water to cook, the scheme was stopped for the first time since schools adopted it in 2002.
