JAIPUR: A symbol of Rajasthan, camels have time and again carried people to safe harbours in the sandy terrains of the state. However, their cries have long been lost in the vast emptiness of the desert land.
Not all hope is lost yet as a one-of-its-kind rescue centre for camels is being set up by the NGO 'Help in Suffering' (HIS) in the outskirts of the city.
