The government today gave nod for enhancement in capacity to 23 small hydroelectric projects and allowed IPPs (independent power producers) to dispose of their power in any manner after allowing royalty in the shape of free power to the state.
The decisions were taken at a meeting of the state Cabinet held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister PK Dhumal here today.
