Wind energy consumption up [1]

COIMBATORE: During the last three days nearly one-fourth of the power consumption in the State is from wind energy.

According to data published by the Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation, of the 236 million units consumed on May 31, 57.7 million units were from wind energy.

It was 51 million units on May 30, and 55 million units on May 29.
