The Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority is going to set up boundary wall around the Pagla Sewage Treatment Plant to stop illegal fish farming in the toxic lagoons, senior officials said.
Like almost every year, the authorities also carried out a drive this year in May to kill the fishes reared illegally in 16 lagoons of the sewage treatment plant by locally influential people, they added.
