KOCHI: Kochi Corporation is keen on installing solar energy lamps in certain key areas with a view to reducing energy consumption. LED lamps are to be set up on MG road in the beginning. Entrepreneurs are expected to take part in the programme which could effectively reduce the spending by the local body.
