Parking to become 'public' soon [1]

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is all set to carry its biggest demolition drive in the central business districts to clear encroachments from parking space. It has already prepared a list of over 250 commercial buildings and hyper-marts in west and new west zones where ground floor parking space have been illegally converted into service areas, restaurants or being used for private parking. The buildings where the margin area has been illegally extended onto the roads too are on the list.
