Use of statistical morphometric analysis for the purpose and requirement of other disciplines may be far from the ground reality as it may be superfluous without corroboration by proper understanding of geology and geomorphology in the study. The present study attempts at the realization of such interpretations by considering drainage chracteristics of twenty sub-basins of Pariyat watershed located in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh in Central India.
