Farmers not ready to part with their fertile land. Farmers in the taluk have intensified their agitation against the acquisition of land for the setting up of a steel plant by Tata Metaliks.
On Thursday, they arrived from Agadi village in the city in more than 35 bullock carts and held a roadblock protest for more than an hour at the Hosamani Siddappa Circle.
