 UTlLISE FLY ASH [1]

The Delhi high court has asked the Union and state government departments to submit their plans on the use of fly ash bricks to the environment ministry. Fly ash bricks ensure that the pollutant is kept in check. A division bench comprising Anil Dev Singh and Mukul Mudgal was hearing a petition seeking proper management of fly ash released from thermal power plants. The fly ash is dumped by the plants indiscriminately, causing major health hazard. According to the petitioner) B L Wadhwa, various government departments were not responding to the environment ministry notification which had spelt out details regarding the flyash management.
