PMGSY wing to speed up construction of rural roads [1]

In order to speed up the implementation of the flagship Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in the State a separate wing for this

purpose would be created. It may be mentioned that Meghalaya has been a laggard in the execution of the flagship programme compared to other states in the country. PMGSY aims to connect all the rural areas in the country with motorable roads.
