Punjab government has released a fund of Rs 21 crore earmarked for the mid-day meal scheme in the state for the month of October. The Centrally-funded scheme is being run in Moga, Sangrur and Ajitgarh districts of the state with the assistance of NGOs, an official spokesperson said today.
