Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Legal Aid, National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. NCT of Delhi & Ors. dated 12/11/2013 regarding the number of bore well/ tube wells that exist in Delhi. The Chairperson of the Committee constituted by the NCT of Delhi has submitted that he would ensure that the Order of the Tribunal is fully complied with and appropriate Report will be filed shortly. According to him, complete efforts would be made and a comprehensive scheme will be provided for checking illegal extraction of underground water as well as to ensure that the registered consumers of underground water are
made liable to pay water charges for consumption of such water.
