Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. Union of India & Ors dated 25/02/2014 regarding illegal cutting of trees in Uttarakhand which has disturbed the environment and ecology of the area. A dispute is also raised before the Tribunal that it is a reserve forest land and would not put to any non-Forest activity and even could not be transferred, without the permission of the Central/State Government.
