Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Dr.Udaykumar Vasantrao Jagtap Vs Saswad Mun. Council & Ors dated 10/03/2014 regarding pollution of Karha River, Saswad, Pune, Maharashtra. The Tribunal has noted that "from the record, it appears prima facie that Sewage is being discharged in the river without any treatment and as such, pollution of water, contamination of water is rather undisputed by MPCB, and appears to be also clear on account of reports of water quality".
