Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Centre for Environment Protection, Research & Development Vs. State of M.P. & Others. dated 06/05/2014 regarding reducing the pollution levels in the city of Indore. The Tribunal has also noted that Rule 15 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 pertaining to the requirement obtaining Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates with regard to
emission of smoke from motor vehicles is not being implemented in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
