Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Vinod Kumar Pandey & Ors. Vs. Union of India & Ors.dated 22/07/2014 regarding environmental clearance granted to M/s Dheeru Powergen Pvt. Ltd. by the MoEF to establish 3 x 350 MW coal based Thermal Power Plant at Village Dhanras, Tehsil Katghora, District Korba, Chhattisgarh on 18.01.2010 by which time the MoEF has declared the area around the Korba town in Chhatisgarh as critically polluted area based on comprehensive Environmental Pollution Index (CEPI) as recommended by the CPCB and imposed a moratorium on further grant of environmental clearance in the said area for coal based Thermal Power Plants.
