Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Netyendra Manav Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. dated 02/12/2014 regarding illegal mining in Rajasthan.
The Tribunal noted that as a result of the illegal mining in the river bed Sadi and other territories and nallahs as was evident from the photographs submitted by the Counsel for the State, deep excavation has been carried out and huge quantity of residue as a result of washing activities, has got accumulated.
