Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Taurus International (Projects) Pvt. Ltd. Vs. Delhi Pollution Control Committee dated 19/03/2015 regarding hotels in Delhi following pollution control norms or not.
The Tribunal directed that all the hotels to which time was granted by the DPCC to install anti polluting devises or ETPs/STPs would be inspected in the coming four days and if they have not started any work for installation of equipments and for taking anti-polluting devices, in such cases these hotels shall also be ordered to shut down, would be sealed and their electricity and water connection shall be disconnected forthwith and restored only on Saturday afternoon i.e. 21st March, 2015.
