Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Antrasingh Patel & Anr. V/s Union of India & Ors. dated 23/07/2015 regarding filling of Maheshwar dam upto EL 154 meters.
The Tribunal also noted that "it was the obligation of the project proponent to have released the amount for R&R project which is the part of the Environmental Clearance. We find from the records that the Project Proponent had made the statement regarding the release of amount of Rs. 53.43 crores to the Executing Committee respondent-Maheshwar Hydroelectric Project within a period of 90 from 13.10.2014 or 20.11.2014."
