 History on two wheels [1]

The Cambodian government has begun offering 300 battery-powered bicycles to tourists for rent while visiting the world-famous Angkor archaeological park, Cambodia's main tourist attraction. The introduction of this environment-friendly transportation is part of the government's efforts to reduce noise and pollution in and around the country's majestic former capital. There are 14 repair stations also within the park.

Trucks with a load capacity higher than 20 tonnes and buses with more than 24 seats have been banned from travelling across the complex.
