Order of the Madras High Court in the matter of A.P.Suryaprakasam Vs Government of Tamil Nadu dated 11/01/2016 regarding ban on the use of plastic flags and banners in elections.

The Madras High Court directs Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and Election Commission of India (ECI) to take up the issue as to what
orders can be passed to prevent the waste plastic from affecting the State and thereafter file an affidavit in this behalf.
