Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Pramod Kumar Tyagi & Others Vs. Art of Living International Center & Others dated 10/08/2016 regarding the damage caused to the Yamuna floodplains due to the three day World Culture Festival organised by the Art of Living. The report of the Committee headed by Shashi Shekhar, Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources constituted on 28th July, 2016 has concluded that there is damage to the environment, ecology and bio-diversity. NGT directs the Expert Committee to "to furnish atleast tentative costs that are liable to be recovered for the damage caused."
