Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Social Action for Forest & Environment (SAFE) Vs. Union of India & Others dated 23/08/2016 regarding beach camps along the stretch of river Ganga. Counsel appearing for the State of Uttarakhand has placed the Tribunal a detailed map showing the line of middle of the river, 100 meter from the middle of the river and the proposed sites for beach camps.
