Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Kisan Sahakari Chini Mills Limited (In Krishan Kant Singh Case) Vs. U.P. Pollution Control Board & Others dated 07/09/2016 regarding the pollution caused by the sugar industry (Kisan Sahakari Chini Mills Limited). The Joint inspection report filed by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board states that the Unit is noncompliant and polluting. National Green Tribunal directs the industry not to operate till the time it has complied with all the deficiencies pointed out in the inspection report and obtains consent to operate from the Board, which will be subject to orders of the Tribunal.
