Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Eco Green Park Society Vs. M/s Om Construction and Builders & Others dated 12/01/2017 regarding inadequate drainage systems in Bhopal causing floods. NGT observed that the "nallahs which are the drainage and salient features of the undulating countryside around Bhopal have a significant role to play for the environment and their drainage and carrying capacity also needs to be surveyed from time to time. The work of cleaning of nallahs needs to be taken up on regular basis."
