Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Sheikh Rashid Charitable Foundation, Malegaon V/s Union Of India & Others dated 06/03/2017 regarding water pollution in River Malegaon caused on account of unregulated disposal of solid waste and lack of proper sewage system.
NGT directs Malegaon Municipal Corporation to present before the Court a time bound action plan for proper handling of solid waste and sewage treatment including the underground sewage system within the limits of city Malegaon on or before the next date of hearing (11/04/2017).
