Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Society for Preservation of Kasauli and its Environs (SPOKE) Vs. Bird’s View Resort; Chelsea Resorts; Hotel Pine View; Narayani Guest House; Nilgiri Hotel; Hotel Divshikha dated 27/04/2017 regarding banning construction activity in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. According to two officers (Praveen Gupta and Anil Kumar) of the Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board "there is no prescribed procedure in the Board for submission, processing and passing of the consent under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and any other matters falling in the jurisdiction of the Board."
