Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Others dated 28/08/2017 regarding registration of new vehicles of Indian Oil Corporation which are BS-IV compliant and which are to be used only for the purpose of carrying petroleum products.
Tribunal allows the applications subject to the condition that Indian Oil Corporation shall file an affidavit before the registering authority as well before the Tribunal that IOC does not have any diesel truck/ vehicle which are more than 10 years old and that they are not plying any BS-I, BS-II and BS-III vehicle for carrying on petroleum and other products in NCR Delhi and also that these new vehicles are BS-IV compliant.
