Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ram Avtar Singh Vs. State of Rajasthan & Others dated 26/10/2017 regarding illegal and unauthorized mining at Parbabar, district Nagore, Rajasthan. Photographs placed before the court shows that illegal mining has practically reduced the greenery to half also the project where mining is carried has no environmental clearance obtained by any person whatsoever.

NGT directs departmental proceedings against all the erring officers and officials and environmental compensation to be imposed on each of the employees to the extent of Rs. 50,000/-. The Mining Department and the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board is also directed to recover a sum of Rs. 1 Lakh from each of the persons who were found to be responsible for carrying on illegal and unauthorized mining in this area.
