Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Radhey Mohan Misra Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 12/03/2018 regarding identification and declaration of wetlands in Uttar Pradesh. The State of Uttar Pradesh submits before NGT the publication of the notification under the Provisions of Rule 7 of the Wetland ( Conservation and Management) Rules, 2017 on 09th March, 2018. Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change submits that State Government acted under the provisions of the new Wetland Rules. Therefore, if the State submits report with regard to the draft notification then further action will be taken by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change in accordance with law.

NGT accepts the request of the State of Uttar Pradesh for the adjournment of the case by 60 days for filing statement of further action that will be taken by the State in this regard.
