Order of the Delhi High Court in the matter of Gauri Grover Vs Government of NCT of Delhi & Others dated 14/03/2018 regarding solid waste management in Delhi.
Delhi High Court finds that the issue of e-waste has not been addressed and directs the municipal corporations to place before the Court any measures/policies/rules in existence regarding the management and disposal of e-waste. Also notice to be issued to Sunita Narain, Director in the Centre for Science & Environment to enable her to report regarding the disposal of e-waste. Court also asks Ankit Gupta (reporter with the ABP News appointed as local commissioner by the Delhi High Court) to submit a report, regarding the status of garbage in the different districts and areas in Delhi.
