Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of T. N. Godavarman Thirumulpad Vs Union of India & Others dated 22/03/2018 regarding the state of garbage in Gazipur, Delhi.

The affidavit filed by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation reveals that the height of the garbage/malba in Gazipur has reached 60 mts. with steep slope. Supreme Court while rejecting the affidavit directs East Delhi Municipal Corporation to file a detailed affidavit what the East Delhi Municipal Corporation proposes to do with regard to huge amount of garbage which is lying at Gazipur.
