Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of In Re: T. N. Godavarman Thirumulpad Vs Union of India & Others In Re: National Highways Authority of India regarding use of Delhi Ridge land for the widening of National Highway, Delhi, 10/05/2018.
NCT of Delhi has issued a demand notice on the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to the extent of Rs.6,62,000,91/- (Rupees six crore sixty two lakhs ninety-one only). NHAI has stated that the amount will be paid within two weeks. As soon as the amount is received, the Forest Department of the NCT of Delhi will start the afforestation process.
