Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. C. V. Singh Vs Union of India & Others dated 20/07/2018 regarding directions to prevent construction within the 10 Km. radius of Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary.
NGT disposes of the Application as already a Notification dated 11.09.2017 under Environment Protection Act, 1986 stating that extent of 1 Km. of Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary will be the eco-sensitive zone has been issued. Further the Counsel for the State of Haryana has pointed out that a Draft Notification has been issued by the State of Haryana on the same pattern and the final Notification is likely to be published within one month.
